Sunnies Face was launched in August 2018 by the founding team behind Sunnies Studios: Martine Cajucom Ho, Georgina Wilson, Jessica Wilson, Bea Soriano Dee, and Eric Dee. The beauty brand was born unexpectedly during an eyewear campaign when Martine began blending custom lipstick shades for photoshoots. The demand from customers was immediate, and what began as behind-the-scenes beauty hacks quickly evolved into a full-fledged cosmetic line.

 

Before launching its first product, the team tested over 300 shade formulations and 22 texture variations. The result was the Fluffmatte lipstick line, which sold out within 10 minutes of its debut, marking the start of a viral beauty sensation.

Sunnies Face was built on the foundation of Sunnies Studios, which began as an eyewear and lifestyle brand in 2013. By 2023, the group had expanded to over 127 locations across Asia, including the Philippines and Vietnam.
