Founded in Los Angeles in 2017 by former professional snowboarder Nima Jalali, Salt & Stone was born from necessity, not trend. Jalali needed skincare that could withstand the rigors of training and extreme environments, something challenging enough for athletes, yet refined enough for daily ritual.
Early prototypes, tested by his circle of active peers, quickly found traction, setting the foundation for a performance-driven brand that blends athletic roots with a modern lifestyle sensibility.
