Saie was founded in 2019 by Laney Crowell, a former Estée Lauder executive and clean-beauty blogger. After years of writing about wellness and makeup, Crowell noticed a gap: most “clean” products lacked the performance, texture, or modern edge that people wanted. She launched Saie with the belief that beauty could be high-performance, stylish, and truly clean. The name reflects the brand’s community-first ethos: “You Saie It, We Create It.”
