Caraa was born in New York in 2015, the brainchild of fashion designer Carmen Chen Wu and business executive Aaron Luo. After relocating from Spain to NYC, the duo found themselves constantly on the move, commuting, working, exercising, and socializing. Yet without a single bag that could keep up with it all.

 

Out of that frustration came inspiration: a brand dedicated to crafting bags that are as versatile as modern urban life itself. Even the name Caraa (a fusion of Carmen + Aaron) reflects the partnership at its core and the personal touch they wanted their brand to embody.
